Company History

Mountain Manufacturing & Marketing Inc. was founded in 1989 by Mr. Robert Goodnough. He originally designed and manufactured an innovative coin operated system for locking ski racks and boot lockers.
Mr. Goodnough has over 27 years of manufacturing experience starting as a Machinist and Tool Maker. He is driven by high ideals, integrity and the desire to improve products and service. Being able to envision a finished product before the first tool starts cutting, has allowed him to invent and bring many innovative products to the marketplace.
He is a firm believer in allowing modern state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to drive prices down instead of up, passing those cost savings onto his customers. Mounted in a frame inside his office reads a saying " A happy customer adds yet another excellent salesperson to our dedicated team." It's an embedded company philosophy that is working to help Mountain Mfg. become the supplier of choice throughout North America.
After working at a senior level for a leading manufacturer of Transit Shelters and related products for over six years, Rob decided once again that he could improve and continue a tradition of building innovative, problem solving products that would meet or exceed all of his customer's expectations. With direct manufacturing experience on over 10,000 shelter related projects and many installations, there isn't much he and his team haven't seen in their careers.
Mountain's dedicated and highly skilled team of engineers, designers, metal fabricators, sales and customer service representatives, continue to provide solutions in the form of advertising signs, covered walkways, street furniture, transit, special use shelters, smoking shelters and custom made products.
